The Challenge
A global film production company wanted to automate and streamline its processes to prepare the business for investment.
Our Solution
We created an asset database (e.g. location, equipment, and crew) in AWS to automatically generate production budgets and proposals, while streamlining their pricing and stabilising per-project profitability. We also created an analytics layer in Redshift/PowerBI that enabled them to track project profitability in real-time, preventing cost overruns while helping them identify the characteristics of high-value clients.
Impact
Our initiative is on track to increase EBITDA by 3% and provide a 20% uplift to their multiple, while significantly reducing tech debt and risk.
